Sustaining the Motivation to Meditate

This process is a meditation in itself, and can also be used to motivate yourself to practice any other technique of your choosing.
When doing this process… Make sure that you are in a safe, protected environment
The key to success is your wanting to succeed.
You need to style to be motivated to meditate for the process to be effective.
The sphere of the unconscious that you will be accessing is the space of openness, of a childlike capacity to trust, and the willingness to say "Yes." To help pave the way to that aspect of yourself, you are asked three simple questions at the beginning of both tracks, to which you can silently respond with a "Yes."

As with any new practice, the more you listen to the CD, the deeper will be the effects. It is suggested you listen every morning on waking, and at night just before entering sleep. Don't be concerned if you fall asleep while listening to it; the suggestion to meditate can still enter your unconscious.
You can expect results within weeks, even days, of consistent practice. Then, once your motivation is strong, you can do the process a few times a week simply as a "top – up." Of course, if you are enjoying it as a regular meditation in itself, keep going!

Make sure that you will be undisturbed, and that you are comfortable.
Allow your eyes to stay closed throughout.
Don't listen to this CD while driving!

There are two tracks, both of 30 minutes' duration.
Track one guides you into relaxation and then addresses your desire to be motivated to meditate. This is followed by a period of music only.
At the end of the 30 minutes, Maneesha's voice gently brings you back to your normal state of consciousness.
This may be the option you choose for the start of your working day and/or when you have limited time.

Listen to the entire track.
Or, if you just have 15 minutes' available, you can end your session shortly after hearing the text. If you chose to do that, you can bring yourself back to full alertness by counting from 1 to 5 – a simple process you will learn by listening to the end of this track.

The second track provides the same information as the first track, except that there is no "being brought back" stage.

This is ideal for those times when you want to continue to meditate beyond the length of the track. In addition, listening to this at night will help reinforce the intention, which you have given to your unconscious mind, through all the hours of your sleep.
